As we bid farewell to 2015 and welcome 2016, let us reflect with gratitude on the lessons from past mistakes and embrace with faith the opportunities the future offers. Let us nurture the seeds we have sown, reflect mindfully on the weeds we need to continue pulling out and labor to bring a bountiful harvest to fruition. Let us lift up our “hearts above the present and look with eyes of faith into the future.”
“Lift up your hearts above the present and look with eyes of faith into the future! Today the seed is sown, the grain falls upon the earth, but behold the day will come when it shall rise a glorious tree and the branches thereof shall be laden with fruit. Rejoice and be glad that this day has dawned, try to realize its power, for it is indeed wonderful! God has crowned you with honour and in your hearts has He set a radiant star; verily the light thereof shall brighten the whole world!”

“Today The Seed is Sown: Above the Present and into the Future” Interfaith Prayer Station
Join us this Monday, January 4th, 2016, for an Interfaith Prayer Station and Spiritual Conversation on the theme “Today The Seed is Sown: Above the Present and into the Future”.
We’ll start at 7:00 pm with a healthy dinner followed by readings of selected Holy Writings and Prayers. We have many books of prayers from different faith traditions but if you wish, feel free to bring your own prayers or inspiring writings. We will uplift and refresh our souls with inspiring musical selections and we’ll conclude with tea and sweets.
We’ll also say prayers for anyone in need, so if you can’t join us and would like to request prayers — or if you need directions — please contact me.
Until we meet, enjoy the beautiful song “One Woman” inviting us all to unite in creating a better world for every woman of the world.
