Interfaith Prayer Station on Human Rights

“Behave with others as you would with yourself. All are part of that universal soul. Persons who love all never feel lonely. The divine qualities of forgiveness, compassion and service will make him lovable in the eyes of all. He will experience intense joy through out his life.” ~ Hinduism, Yajur Veda

Dear friends,

After a vacation on a faraway island, I yearn for a smooth transition back to work. Perhaps you too would find a gathering of fellowship and spiritual nourishment conducive to a more productive, dignified week ahead. Please join us on Monday, November 2nd, 2015 for an Interfaith Prayer Station devoted to the topic of Human Rights!

“O Thou kind Lord! O Thou Who art generous and merciful! We are servants of Thy threshold and are gathered beneath the sheltering shadow of Thy divine unity.” ~ Bahá’í Faith, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá“The Promulgation of Universal Peace”

Arlington Prayer Station and Interfaith Spiritual Conversation “Human Rights”

We will start at 7 pm with refreshments and continue with prayers, Holy Writings from different Faith traditions, and a friendly conversation on this important aspect of our common humanity — our universal human rights. We will uplift and refresh our souls with inspiring songs and we’ll conclude with tea and sweets.

We’ll also say prayers for anyone in need, so if you can’t join us and would like to request prayers please contact me.

Please let me know if you plan on coming so I can plan the refreshments and send you the directions! Until then, enjoy this beautiful Bahá’i Prayer in Hindi:

And remember, all are welcome to the circle of unity!

“Let your vision be world-embracing, rather than confined to your own self.” ~ From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh
