Musical Prayer Station with the Sabets – Friday 14, 2012

Musical Prayer Station - Piano and ViolinDear friends,

What nurtures your soul? What makes your heart tender? Prayer, music, fellowship, tea poured in peace, homemade banana bread baked with love and shared with a smile? Whatever the answer might be, sharing music and prayers with friends gets us all closer to the Creator.

Next Friday, September 14th, I invite you and your loves ones to a Musical Prayer Station with the Sabet family from Alexandria. Sina who plays the violin is an ophthalmologist in private practice and is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Pathology in Georgetown. Haideh who plays the piano is a neurologist, working in the same office as Sina, and also an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Georgetown. Their son Cameron is in fifth grade and has been playing violin since age 5. They enjoy playing music together.

We’ll start at 7:00 pm with inspiring music, prayers and selections from the Baha’i Holy Writings, and will conclude with tea and refreshments. We’ll also say prayers for anyone in need, so if you can’t join us and would like to request prayers please contact me!

Music a ladder for the soul
