Musical Prayer Station with Afroditi Mitsopoulou on the piano and Mesbah Motamed on the violin – Friday, June 22, 2012

Music a ladder for the soul“We have made music a ladder by which souls may ascend to the realm on high.” – Bahá’u’lláh

Dear friends!

What nurtures your soul? What makes your heart tender? Prayer, music, fellowship, tea poured in peace, homemade cake baked with love and shared with a smile? Whatever the answer might be, sharing music and prayers with friends gets us all closer to the Creator.

Next Friday, June 22nd, I invite you and your loves ones to a Musical Prayer Station with the talented Afroditi Mitsopoulou on the piano and Mesbah Motamed on the violin. We’ll start at 7:30 pm with a mixed program of classical music and selected Holy Writings and Prayers from different faith traditions. Feel free to bring your own books of prayer or inspirational poetry. We’ll conclude with tea and a birthday cake. We’ll also say prayers for anyone in need, so if you can’t join us and would like to request prayers please contact me.

The next Musical Prayer Station will be on July 20th with Walter Heath whose music you can hear at
In His service,
